due to a late arrival back from the interpol show and the inclement weather, i did not arise at 6:30 this morning to picket. i did, however, hear the crowd riling cornel west give a speech praising the yale labour movement. in order to make the most of my two-day strike, i decided to be productive and go shopping. it felt really strange to purchase capris and a tank top with inches of snow accumulating on the ground outside.
