kendra and i went to check out the merch table and saw this cd that i really liked back at WUOG -- the soundtrack of this movie called Looking for Leonard. i finally figured out where i had heard of these portastatic guys before. so, i said (to the lead singer), "wow, i really liked this cd. this is you guys?" and he said that the movie is coming out on DVD soon although it never really made it down from canada on the big screen. last night, brandon informed me that mr. portastatic is the lead singer of superchunk and owner of merge records. who knew?
