new GA state flag now persecutes...me

ok, i guess as an ex-pat georgian, i have no place to complain, but for fuck's sake people do you really need to put in god we trust on the state flag. especially, after the whole pledge of alliegence debacle in california? how difficult is it to come up with a design that won't offend anyone. there are hundreds of symbols out there that could represent georgia. how about a food, like peanuts, peaches, or onions. or maybe some mountains, plains and oceans to show the diverse geography of the state. don't we have a state bird, tree, or insect that would be more appropriate.
