using my consumer id card (you know, the one you can put on your keychain) @ the grocery store saved me $8.40 (10%). of course, this is 10 imaginary percentage points off items that they decided to stick on sale. i wonder how many less expensive, nearly identical things i didn't purchase due to the lure of the big red SALE sign.
