home for the holidays : redux

our plumbing is shot. no showers, limited toilet flushing, no clothes washing. suddenly i am transported back to my many journeys through the third world. oh, except we still have satellite tv and high-speed internet. hopefully i can take a shower at my neighbors' house as i do not want to be that "stinky person" on the plane.
