tonight i am going to sit in bed and read the crate & barrel spring 2004 catalog and eat chocolate ice cream.

speaking of national over-priced chain stores, can anyone tell me why the jcrew in new haven now has display windows plastered with pastel button downs and flip-flops? like, hello, it is still below-freezing here. it's like selling wool sweaters in miami. sheesh.
