the great clinton walk-out

after winning much coveted tickets to see bill c., jessica and i endured long lines of anxious yalies and secured prime seating near the stage. first came levin, then ernesto zedillo, and, finally, our former pres. the folks in the hall were going apeshit. it was kind of creepy actually. for a second, it felt like a rally for mao, or fidel, or...

about five minutes and several ancedotes about the salvation of the mexican economy later, jessica turns to me and says, "i'm bored". that settled it. we packed up our stuff and high-tailed it outta there. everyone was staring at us as we filed out. it felt really liberating.
