Being unemployed is... great!

I have now officially settled down on the West Coast. It's all sunny skies and trees and lots of cars. I already have one job interview next week, so hopefully I'll be a working woman soon. For the time being, it's reading books, going to yoga, and relaxing on the deck.

It's strange how I can pick up and move clear across the country and not feel displaced at all. I miss all of my New Haven friends, but I don't miss the grind of grad school and all of the things I didn't like about Yale.
