the things people put in their lawns

the other day i was running (i know!) and saw two kids playing in a yard. until i realized they weren't moving. until i realized that instead of heads they had bunches of flowers. i went back to capture this moment and the kids were no longer there. maybe they frightened one of the neighbors into taking action.

luckily the free door i had been spying on the same street was still hanging out on the sidewalk. i promptly took it home and will turn it into a mirror.

i wonder if my boss will mind that i'm correcting the typos on his grant.
