The Security Deposit Saga Continues

This morning I recieved an e-mail from the State Security Deposit Investigator.

It is my understanding from the Housing Courts that I talk to that if
the landlord makes no attempt to collect late fees when they are due, that they cannot deduct them from your security deposit. What they are supposed to do is not pay interest on the security deposit for the months that the tenant paid past the 10 day grace period.

The slumlord is about to learn not to mess with an unemployed ex-grad student with an internet connection and far too much time on her hands.
