In other news...I have a stalker



Yes, yes I do. Her name is Christie and she is the union organizer for GESO, the grad student union. Apparently, not only does Christie know which lab I am working in (since she dropped by there last night. Keep in mind this is SUNDAY NIGHT), she also knows my class schedule (as observed when she was helping me set up a time for an appointment. "Now, you have classes on Tuesday and Thursday"). Jesus! I wonder if she knows the name of my pet gerbil from when I was eight. Agreed to have coffee on Friday morning over at the med school, and should probably reschedule since I have a rescheduled class on the other side of campus (which she surprisingly doesn't know about) at 11:45, but don't want to get into protracted discussion over unionization. My argument basically comes down to: from what I've seen of the GESO organizers, I do not trust them to collectively bargain a contract for me. Will hopefully address the issue of getting a restraining order. I can't help wondering how this girl has any time to actually work on her dissertation.
