I thought using the bread machine was easy. Toss in the mix, the butter, and the yeast, and sit back while your bread perfectly rises. That's why they make the machine, right? So you get perfect bread every time? Well, I left the apartment imagining the great sandwich I was going to make when I got back. My bread was a hard, twisted lump! What happened?
