Athens Area Democratic Women
The purpose of the Clarke County Democratic Women is to endeavor to strengthen all facets of the Democratic Party and to encourage women's participation in it; to promote the election of Democrats at all levels of government; and to encourage qualified citizens to seek public office and serve on governmental boards and agencies. The organization is open to men and women who are voters in Athens and the surrounding areas.
Clarke County Republican Women's Club
Luncheon meetings at noon on the 2nd Thursday of the month, 6 times a year, usually with a speaker on timely political issues. Membership tea in January or February.
