Why I hate the local news: Reason # 834
I have been enduring the local newscast for 46 min now to see the GESO press conference where we declared that we had 60% of the TAs as members of the union. We had the mayor, our congresswoman, and the CT attorney general there. But no, the local news has included such tantalizing stories as:
1. The weather. At least twice.
2. The tallest bridge in the world.
3. Pregnant twins give birth to twins on same day.
4. Protests in front of the Mental Health Dept.
5. Some people were shot. Others were arrested for it.
6. FIRE!!!
