Yale Teaching Assistants Favor Unionization
NEW HAVEN -- About 60 percent of Yale University's graduate teaching assistants support unionization, members of the school's graduate employee organization said Tuesday.
Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz confirmed Tuesday that 313 of the university's graduate teaching assistants, or about 60 percent, signed petitions in support of joining the Graduate Employees and Students Organization.
