Customer Service...they're there to serve

Lately, my phone has been having this wierd problem where it gets crummy reception and drops calls after about 20 minutes. Needless to say, anyone who has tried to talk to me on my cell phone for any length of time recently will probably attest to how annoying this is. I even got a new phone, and still the same problem.

Today I called customer service. After sitting through several minutes of muszak, the rep told me that my phone didn't have the right updates or something. He would send them to my phone, all I had to do was turn it off and on again. Presto! It seems like a deceptively easy solution...
